Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has played an important role in the orderly-yet-rapid development of Delhi. The city has become the residence of choice for more than 11 million people and this number continues to increase. DDA started its operation in 1957 under the Delhi Development act. • 87.5 acres for utilization in Delhi Noida Bridge

Flats provided by DDA have all types of facilities like electricity, water & sewage disposal and other communication facilities. A suitable example is Rohini. It has been planned and developed by DDA. All modern facilities including gas pipeline have been provided.

Delhi has been attracting large numbers of immigrants from the neighboring cities and states and provided an accommodating atmosphere to all. The credit of this largely goes to the Housing Development Authority or DDA.
